PanARMENIAN.Net - Krasnodar midfielder and Armenia national team captain Eduard Spertsyan said he would like to play in either the Spanish or Italian league, Sport Express reported.
"From my preferences, probably Spain and Italy. England? Maybe a step later. In principle I'm not afraid, but it would be better to go there through another league. The main thing is that I play, not just move to another club," he said in an interview.
He also noted that his contract with Krasnodar has been extended until 2029.
Spertsyan added that it is a great honor for him to play for the Armenian national team.
"I cried when I scored my first goal for the national team. I always accept every call-up to the national team with great joy," he said.
In the 2025/2026 season, Spertsyan has played 26 matches in the Russian Premier League, the Russian Cup and the Super Cup, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists.
