September 22nd, 2022- Los Angeles - With a catchy hashtag in Spanish urging young L.A. Latinas to check their breasts (#TocateLasChichis), the celebrated all-female band Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea and Keep A Breast today announced the launch of a life-saving campaign promoting breast cancer prevention and resources via the use of a free app developed by the Foundation.

- According to the National Cancer Institute, about 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in their lifetime, and some 12,000 women age 40 or younger are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
- With multiple music nominations and awards, Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea is the first all-female mariachi band ever to be nominated for - and eventually win - a Grammy Award.
